How can I get citation information?
Answer
Before using the following electronic citation tools, be sure to develop some proficiency with the style you will be using. While these tools are useful, the citations they deliver can contain errors. Therefore you should proof read any citations you extract from these resources.
EBSCO / Speedy Search
Search for and select the title of the record in EBSCO for which you want citation information. Click the button Cite. Scroll to the desired citation style (e.g. APA) and select and copy the citation. Paste it into your document.
WorldCat
WorldCat is an excellent resource for discovering bibliographic information and contains citation information on millions of books, journal articles, and videos. If you can't uncover the citation information from other sources, there's a good chance you can find it in WorldCat. Search for and select the title of the record for which you want citation information. Click the button Cite/Export. Click the plus button ("+") next to the desired citation style (e.g. APA) and select and copy the citation. Paste it into your document.
